SEER2 vs SEER
Compare your old system with a new one and see how much your savings can be!

So what is the difference between SEER and SEER2?

SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. This is the ratio of the cooling output of an air conditioner and heat pump over a typical cooling season, in many appliances, this is that big yellow sticker place on most appliances; the higher the SEER number the less energy consumption of a system.

SEER2 is the new efficiency rating that approximates new  pressure testing conditions that approximate more those found in a typical system that includes air ducts, making this reading more accurate and reliable when looking at energy efficiency ratings.
